Fields and data
Form data is the set of values your form holds. These pages explain keys and values, common field types, labels, defaults, choice fields,
and repeating rows.
In this section What is form data? Understand field keys and values: the data your form collects when users fill it in or when you bind defaults. Common field types Text fields, dropdowns, checkboxes, and buttons: pick the right component from the Components palette for each input. Labels and help text Set field labels, placeholders, and helper text on the Main tab so users understand what to enter. Default values Set starting values on the Main tab so fields open pre-filled: test defaults in Preview before go-live. Choice fields Choose components for single, multiple, and yes/no answers, and configure their options. Read-only and disabled fields Show data users cannot edit with Read only or Disabled: use Preview to confirm behavior. Tables and repeating rows Use List, Repeater, or table components for multiple similar rows: step-by-step walkthroughs with invoice and team directory examples.
